Bosch #11 Closers

After three years as a PI, Harry Bosch returns to the LAPD on probation. The department is a different place, with a new chief and sweeping reforms - but some things never change, including Deputy Chief Irving, who is watching and waiting for Harry to slip up. Harry is ordered to the recently renamed Open-Unsolved Unit and reunited with his former partner, Kiz Rider. Nicknamed the 'Closers', the unit is tasked with applying new techniques to old evidence for the thousands of cold cases that haunt the LAPD. When Harry and Kiz get their first case - a murdered teenager and a DNA link to a white supremacist - it seems sensitive but straightforward. Until their main suspect is killed. Suddenly the political powder keg is about to explode, and Harry's badge is on the line... 'A master of the genre' - Stephen King 'The pre-eminent detective novelist of his generation' - Ian Rankin
